Bird's Nest Ring

3,950.00

In Northern New Mexico junipers and small gray birds are ubiquitous. Both have successfully adapted to the harsh and spare environment. Details in nature are easy to overlook and not see, but a bit of an abandoned nest in a juniper caught my eye and allowed me to look—to see its marvelous details. This ring is a tribute to the junipers and the small gray birds.

The ring, the first in a series, is in 18K Yellow gold, with a steel bowl supporting a beautiful 8mm (1.90 ct.) light-blue Chatham (a lab grown sapphire). Juniper twigs were bent and assembled to from the ring.

This ring is in a private collection and is unique, but other rings based on a similar, but not identical, idea can be made with various gems. Please contact us with any questions
